About
Kama Palmer RN, IBCLC
Hi there, I’m Kama (pronounced Kam-aay). My journey into birth and lactation support began as a doula, where I witnessed firsthand the transformative power of compassionate, informed care. This passion led me to become a Registered Nurse, specializing in labor and delivery, and later, postpartum care. Each step deepened my understanding of the unique needs of mothers and babies during the perinatal period. Now, as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) I’m honored to support families in navigating the early days of feeding. I believe that every family deserves personalized, evidence-based care that honors their unique journey. My role is to provide you with the tools, knowledge, and encouragement you need to feel confident and empowered in your feeding choices.
At home, I’m a wife and proud mom to three wonderful children, and I recently became a joyful grandmother to my first grandchild! When I’m not spending time with my family, you can find me enjoying the company of my chocolate lab, Romolo, and embracing all the joy that comes with this exciting new chapter in my life.
