About Us

Leigh-Anne Skinner RN, IBCLC
Hi I'm Leigh-Anne! As a women's services nurse, caring for postpartum patients I’ve been moved again and again by the stories of women who left their births feeling unseen, unheard, or disempowered. What drew me in and what continues to inspire me, is the deep belief that every woman deserves to know her rights, understand her options, and feel confidently in charge of her care.
My time supporting new families in the postpartum period opened my eyes to the power of connection, education, and individualized support. I believe feeding and parenthood are deeply personal journeys, and my role is to walk beside you with evidence-based guidance, gentle encouragement, and respect for your choices.
Outside of my work, I cherish time spent with my family; I enjoy cooking, and can often be found curled up with a good book—usually with my two Great Danes, Louis and Willow, by my side.
Kama Palmer RN, IBCLC
Hi there, I’m Kama (pronounced Kam-aay). My journey into birth and lactation support began as a doula, where I witnessed firsthand the transformative power of compassionate, informed care. This passion led me to become a Registered Nurse, specializing in labor and delivery, and later, postpartum care. Each step deepened my understanding of the unique needs of mothers and babies during the perinatal period.
